1983 C10

I bought this last year on the interwebs while I was deployed sight unseen. I got home and found heated front coils and something pretending to be rear leaf springs. After a long Northwest winter I ripped everything out underneath and thanks to forums like this and the University of Youtube I'm read to move into the transmission and engine swap.

Up front is a Western Chassis 2.5 drop spindle and 1" drop spring (it seems to lean to the right a bit, not sure why yet), new shocks and brakes and bearings etc etc

Out back is a belltech flip kit with a freshly built 10 bolt rear. The leaf springs are one ton springs with a few leafs removed.

The wheels are AE 127 17x9 with -5mm offset and 5" back space. The tires are 275/40/R17 Cooper Zeon.

I've always wanted this exact truck and now I have one. I'm a novice in all this so if you are too, it can be done, in your driveway with minimal tools and some good friends to help out.

Looking good! What's the engine plan? LS swap? Plain Jane 350?
