Best glue to install firewall blanket with
« on: April 14, 2017, 11:17:34 am »
I have a 1974 Chevy C10 Step Side.  I am installing a new firewall blanket (under/behind the dash).  I am looking for a glue that has a decent pot life so I can get the blanket in place, but doesn't take days to set up.  Also something that will last forever and ever... (and maybe longer).  Also any clues for how this is done or pitfalls...any problems anybody had.  Thanks much for your inputs.

Something like Liquid Nails would meet almost all your parameters, though I've never tried it on a vehicle.
