Yes you can use it. You need a BOP (Buick, Olds, Pontiac) Adapter. Summit Racing sells TCI's adapter for $54.00 + Shipping.

What did the TH350 come out of? If came from Buick, Olds, or Pont. it will bolt up as is. What is in the truck now, auto or std.? If auto is it TH350 long or short shaft? Is it a TH400?Needs more info to give a detailed answer.

Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

ok thanks for the info ive gotten now ill give u more, its a chevy truck, with an oldsmobile motor and tranny, not sure what kinda tranny the truck had that is slippin, but it is long shaft.. tthe back of the olds motor like curves down, and so does the tranny that was in it, but the turbo tho i got down curve down at the top, it curves up, so i was told it wont bolt right upp.. and the 350 turbo i have is a long shaft too. both look almost the same just one dips down wherew it bolts to the motor and one curves upwardd. just trying to figure out if i can use the turbo 350 or if ill have to buy a new tranny that dips downward.

Should just need the 54 dollar adaptor they were telling you about.  Thet is the difference in the engines is the mounting pattern.  Just get the adaptor and you will be squared away, might also consider some flexplate shims to keep everything in line, but you may not need to.
