Engine Pad Decode

I have a 74 350 engine (in a Chevy C-10 p/u) with the VIN derivative of the truck on the engine pad, and then the code: "K0530 TMM".

I am used to the mid-60's Corvette field where: for the engine code the first character designates the engine plant, the numbers represent build date, and the last 3 characters denote the vehicle/transmission/engine configuration. Is this the same on a truck? If so, how exactly does "K0530 TMM" decode?

ALL GM engines follow the same stamping as what you are used to.

K0530 TMM
K = St. Catherines, Ontario
05 = May
30 = 30th

TMM = 1974 350 conv.cab 145hp 2 barrel carb C-10 & 1500

if you could help?the casting in the back is 14093638 and the stamed #vo308pha can these also help determine if this smc is internal or external balanced thanks for any help

14093638 is an '86-94 350 Block.

That engine will be internally balanced.
