I was able to get the old one out of the old manifold after all. A torch, a wrench, and a mallet.
I believe it's a 7/8" in case anyone else needs to know. Still not sure on the thread pitch though.

So I found out that bolt is 7/8"-18 in case any one else is ever looking for one. I ended up buying a oil drain plug for a '71 Jeep CJ5. The Dorman part number is 65231.
