Connector Air Condition question
« on: April 01, 2020, 05:21:08 am »
My Squarebody and I need your help. I found a connector on the firewall that are missing the other part. One side come from the compressor (dark green) and goes to that connector and then to the pressure control switch. From that PCS goes a light green wire back to that connector. The second light green wire on the same spot of that connector goes back inside the cab to the regulation switch of the AC Unit. BUT where goes the missing connector with the light green wire of the other end that is missing? If I look at the wiring diagram then it shows that the connector 66 light green goes to a fast idle solenoid?! What is that and where to find it. I have a 1984 K20 3/4 Ton with a 6.2l Diesel engine.

Here are the pictures.

It’s right on where the throttle cable connects to the engine  I think

Been a couple years since I messed with a 6.2

Did you find out where to plug this connector?

The reason I ask is I have my connector and I’m about
To rewire it. It was chewed by rats.

Mine will go to the solenoid and AC compressor.

I would buy a new pigtail connector but don’t know what to call that specific connector to search one up.

I’ll have to depin it and put new wires in it. Probably not the dark and light greens it had, but it’ll work.

Rich
It's difficult to know just how much you don't know until you know it.
In other words... if people learn by making mistakes, by now I should know just about everything!!!
