Engine Identification

My dad has this chevy engine and we are trying to find out what it originally came out of. I cant seem the find the suffix code that is stamped on the block. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like an 86 305, 150 hp 4 bbl., manual trans truck motor. Took a lot of searching to find a reference. The pic doesn't look like a small block.
