Has anyone done this swap?
Do you have to move any cross members or what has to happen to install this into a truck thats already a manual?
The swap would be on a '81 Chevy K30 4x4 350 (TBI or Vortec)

Would an NV4500 swap or adding a Ranger Overdrive be easier? Also which one would cost more? I plan on converting the truck to a manual either way.

I haven't done the swap, but Advance Adapters sell a kit for the swap.
