2 piece drive shaft

ny one know the best way to remove it? im going to try to replace the clutch myself ,thanks for any help:eek

Remove the bolts from rear end/driveshaft,frame at the carrier bearing and slip it from the rear of the transmission.

thanks man wasnt sure . the carrier berring fram and at end of shaft like neer the u joints.

thank you steve im going to get on it sunday supposed to be in the 70s good weather for it this will be my first clutch to install. if i get stumped ill come back to this board and ask you if its ok.thanks a million;;)

Ensure you have all your parts...i'd replace the pressure plate, clutch disc, throw out bearing...and check to see if face on flywheel is still smooth....may have to remove flywheel and get it turned.

Check you tranny mounts too...,.sometimes the rubber on the mounts seem to fail or rip.

You should replace the pilot bearing too.Like SgtDel said check your flywheel.Your looking for heat cracks and uneven surface wear.
