Though other places I'm at I have shared this. Honestly, had the site not been coming up ISE 500 for me for a while this site was going to be the 1st site to see this video. This is the 1st 73-87 and only site i really put time in. I practically lurk at every other board and never post but this was really for yall 1st, so i apologize for not having it up here.

Anyway.... i am beginning to recondition our paint booth, cleaning the windows, pits, walls. Familiarizing myself with stuff and getting ideas for the angles ima shoot the process from. done a lot of work on the windows though so we'll be able to have a clean shot in of frame work, and paint.

Your enthusiasm is infectious!

And don't worry about people talking trash. Back in the teens, my family kept telling me to sell my old cars. Now my old cars are the coolest stuff around. They all went up in value, and the family all went out and bought old cars! ROFL!

It's nice to be proven right.

Thanks! I just wanna share the journey, the story and one day someone looking this stuff up will appreciate it, maybe even my son.

I had a conversation with my partner to some sort of depth about this site, my truck and what it means. You know, sharing it here, because out of any place, this place helped me, more importantly, my truck. Guys like bd, Vile, Chris, Shifty, so many others, whether directly or through their own posting and me searching and finding answers to my own issues.

Think this is the only place i shared the tbi 220 rebuild, the rewiring. i was scared i was gon die on that one, i cant lie. But yeah, sometimes i cant find everything i need, so one thing ima do is try to document this whole thing for not only myself, but maybe help someone else later. So many other people's c10s were inspiration for me and my design.

Your accolades are very humbling.  Thank you from us all.  Really, it all boils down to our members' willful display of integrity that makes this site special.  To that end each and every participating member should be commended.  Enjoy a Happy Holiday Season!

  • Family is not an important thing. It's everything.
many of us grew up in these old truck, we can tell you stories about them left and right. we're getting older (speaking for myself lol), having families, and teaching our kids. its a great platform to work on and learn from. my son wanted my 91 crew cab when he started driving. i was hesitant because thats "my truck" that i put the cummins into. i had a bad accident march of this year in my 2010 chevy. the only reason i survived is because of my airbags and the safety crap. i now have a legit reason to tell me son he wont be getting my 91 lol. but it still doesnt mean he cant drive or work on it every now and then. sure they break down but thats half the fun because you get to make memories and teach your kids at the same time.

Keep up the good work and keep up posted. Merry Christmas
