Well yall.... I made it! I have shed a couple tears(I missed my baby). Sat in the cab after moving all of the parts i ordered for her.

I just sat and was happy. Trying not to get any more teary-eyed, but, this is my first baby! So, I kinda sat and talked to her for a few. Reminded her last time I saw her that I told her I'd be back and I'd never forget her. It felt like a mountain came off me yesterday.

I'll do the longwinded talking bout things later once we're home but for now, i wanted to let yall know i made it and show yall what she looks like current moment, i think theres a vid or two somewhere but pics of the parts all together and some other stuff. I cant get into the photobucket atm and for some reason since these are jpEgs and not JPGS i cant just attach em so.... ill figure that out later when i have time.

As for now, its time to go do what i have been waiting to do for 4 years, buying parts for for 3, studied for for a long time since we've been separated. All those nights spent on the computer researching sites, blazing the search button here..... its all gotta be for something or it was all for nothing. So its finna be something aight, lol!

Im really excited, im bringing my whole dang coffeemaker wit me. It made the trip too. Couple negative things i found out my father did while the truck was in the yard. 40y ear mechanic, he knew what he did. But anyway, we fixed that lil nonsense easily.  Just foul.

Oh, so yeah...... i told yall i parked her in 22 after a tuneup i think briefly in one of my recent posts. Part of the other negativity is i had to eat air and bite my tongue tip off nearly. My father began his half-empty fun. "heck, I hope it runs. It's been sitting 2 years."

Absolutely not, sir. So guess what? I trust my work. She fired right up.

Off to finish the fuel cell/lines get into some of this other stuff by night's end. I'll double back with the pics once i can get off this hotel wifi.

Down here IN it. Unfortunately, haven't gotten into the suspension. AT ALL. Have had nothing but problems getting her fired. Get to the house and went to pull her out.... find my father stripped the fuel pump out of my tank. Watched me and my buddy try to get her fired up. KNEW the pump wasnt in it and let us go through all that BS. I didn't find that out til later once we got it to the shop. But its a blessing. Because if I knew what I knew now, I'd have lost my entire mind and probably had went to jail. Not just over that, my father was not a nice man. To me or my mom. So anyway, dude really could've caught one. Lord works in mysterious ways, i aint find that tidbit out bout the pump being yanked til after, so it all worked out.

However, next issue, the summit pump i ordered? Trash. Did not work, fresh out the box. Tested it elsewhere, pulled a pump out the race car, tried it, worked no prob. So, summit pump was ordered right, unfortuantely as we all know, sometimes %$^U dont work.

I went to go working on the calipers, find that i ordered the C222/223 duralast calipers.... which are not for the JB5 HD system. So swing and a miss there. That hurt. So returns and exchanges,  no biggie. Not a 911. But my partner catching heck and I'm beginning to think my father did a lil more than steal a fuel pump out of it.

My heart hurts cause of all that back stuff behind it. Just trying to not let the anger overcome me right now. I am probably not even going back for my AC system front fender or bed panel. I am not 100% sure I can control myself, may not be in my best interests.

Just going through it. All I think my mind is trying to do is whoop my own #$%. But, aint much i can do. All i CAN do is run tools and stuff for my bro so he aint gotta move.

Yall throw 1 up for me.... I need it right now.

8p tonight? She came back to life. Summit pump bad out the box. Pulled a pump from a racecar in the shop, put it in, tested it, good. Bad out the box. SMH.

Bought a 19g fuel cell kit. Final ghost we chased.. Bad fitting incl in the kit leading to no fuel pressure. Had to chase that down. I was going THROUGH IT. Aint a whole lot i could do but watch my bro go thrugh the procedures.

8pm tonight though? She came to life. Sounds great, still sounds in time. I'm just happy. Glad that fight is over. Still got everything else to go, 1 more day.

Day 1. Fuel system mockup and installation. Ran the new fuel lines. Bad fuel pump out the box from summit. Ground wire issues on the frame, taillight causing issues with the fuel gauge. Used a pump from a race car at the shop, worked fine. Tested pump individually
Spent a minute with my guy troubleshooting the fuel system and ground wires.

Rough 1st day.

Day 2 was better. Got her running smooth. 1st test drive and 1st burnout in years! haha.

Today we switched to finish off the race car that needed to be done so we could get the truck physically IN the shop.

Tired as heck. But she is in there. Up on blocks. Front end rebuild is in progress. Left side pretty much done. Found out the coil springs were heated to lower it so they were kinda wonky. Ball joints were absolutely trash. Control arms looked good, need a wire wheel and paint job but other than that?

Gon take a nap and get back out there. I tried to upload pics but they are jpegs with an E, so i cant upload them
