Hi Guys -
I am sure glad I found this site! TONS of info!
I am a new Chevy owner - 85 K20 350. Just put in a new Long BLock, and she runs like a charm. The other night in the snow - ready for plowing - the 4 wheel started to slip in and out. Jacked up the front, and the drivers side had some play in the wheel. Took off the tire & caliper. Took apart the hub, and all looked ok. Played around with the big spring, and put back together. Worked for the night - but sometimes you hear a small clunk. Spoke to a buddy, and then bought a new set of Superwinch Hubs. They do not come with the big spring. Is that new? Is it better this way?. Now a dumb question. Once the caliper was off, and I took off the locking clip - I could not get the rotor off! Do I need a special hub nut wrench? Are these new "spring-less" hubs easier to put in? Any help would be Greatly Apprciated!
Many Thanks AGAIN for this GREAT SITE !!!
