shifting to low 4x4

I have an 81 with the full time hubs.  
I can easily shift down to 4 high, but it will not go down from there to 4 lo.
Any suggestions?

did you check your linkage at the transfer case?
I used to have a 79 blazer with full time and the linkage got loose once and gave me similar problems

Ok, will check the linkage out.  Maybe just try to adjust it...

make sure that when you shift to 4 lo that the tranny is in neutral
