Spring Bolts?
« on: July 05, 2006, 11:07:00 pm »
Well I'm finally getting around to fixing my '80 deluxe and I was just wondering if anyone knows where I can get the bolt that goes threw the center of the leaf springs (sits on the axle in the front) to align them/keep them from moving? I put the ones that came with the 2'' add-a-leaf on, but when I wrecked my truck it sheered the bolts off in the front and i'm unsure of where to purchase them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm taking the 2'' add-a-leaf off in the near future anyways to make room for a 4'' lift.

Any auto parts store should carry them or at the leats be able to order them. Center bolt.

Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

Size?

I checked up the site were I got my add-a-leaf and there's multiple:

7/16" center pins - pair
5/16" center pins - pair
3/8" center pins - pair
1/2" center pins - pair

Not exactly sure what I need.
