I have been slacking a little. Tore some ribs off my spine in the back so that has slowed me down a touch.

I have a line on a D60 center section for the front but I would need ALL of the supporting parts. Waiting on a list of missing parts. Then I will post details.

I also got rid of the cowl hood and got a pretty straight stock hood on the truck. (cowl was pretty warped)

So I took the truck out to help a fellow Jeeper get some parts for his new Jeep. Well his garage is in a tight downtown type alley off a very busy street.

I pulled into the alley to unload the stuff only to find that someone had parked a trailer in the alley blocking the exit. So I had to either try to back out onto a super busy street or turn it aroudn in the tight alley.

Well, I tried to turn it around by pulling backwards into a tight yard/driveway. There was a BUSH on one side........that apparently was hiding a much larger and solid object below the sight line of the bed.  dang it!!! it was the nice perfectly straight side too.

Shouldn't be too hard to massage out, and probably even easier if you could take the bed side off....  Sorry bout the odd area dink though, one of the many reasons why I would like a Burlier Version of Safari Style Guards for my truck(I'm Clumbsy enough on my own, and my Wife Freaks when she can't see behind/ infront of us when I'm driving ::))....

Totally love the project idea it kind of reminds me of mine I started out building a truck with a flat bed that wasn't so high put sides on it made it dump blasted and painted the frame put a super clean cab and clip on this thing then decided to really make this thing stupid and build a huge motor (383 full roller) and now it it has got to be the the oddest truck out there 3/4 ton 4x4 that will light the tires up then go dump some trash. Kinda looking forward to getting a couple scratches on it so I can go play in the mud or go off roading. Can't wait to see your truck done!

Just a quick note. This project is not dead. Just been unable to work on it. Will get back to it soon and get some more pictures up.

Hurt my neck at the start of the summer. Have not been able to work on the truck.

95% better now and can start working again.

At the last trail clean up 4x4 did not work. Everything was spinning but the front end.

I'm feeling a bit better and thought I would tear into it to see if I could fix it quickly (like broken spider gears) so we could use it to help build the Carnage Canyon Challenge Route this weekend.

Here is what I found.

What this truck really needs is a front D60. Anyone have a spare?

I'm still here!!!!!

My "day job" is as a financial advisor. So you can imagine I have been a touch busy this year.

I plan on getting back to work on the truck and hoping to see it working even more this summer.
