4x4 to 4x2?

Has anyone taken a 4x4 and turned it into a 4x2? I have a 84 4x4 shortbed and want a 2wd is it possible?

it would be easier sellin your your 4x4 and buying a 2wd

dont get me wrong but your gonna end up compltetly tearing your truck apart and putting it back together

It is a serious amount of work to do this and basically you eed a donor truck to get all the stuff off of.  If you are going to have to get a donor, you might as well get another truck.

It is possible, but I would weigh the feasibility before committing.

Chack ebay for a rolling chassis, there is one seller on there who often has them, I am not sure who it is, but that are usually really cheap.  Then, set your truck body on it and call it good.
