3/4 ton?

I was wondering if anyone can tell me the differences between a 1981-1987 chevy 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton? Is it just leaf springs or is it also rear end, transfer case etc?

Front axle is the same except 8 lug. Rear end is a bit bigger, but only a semi floater like a 1/2 ton.
