hey guys im jim from minnesota and picked up a 73 chev custom c10 350/350, heavy duty 12 bolt rear end, duel gas tanks, long bed, for 80 bucks hahahaha. yeah i got a deal. i guss i could tell you about it. it dident start when i bought it. so i gave it a tune up ( wires cap rotor spark plugs) right there at the ladys house. lol. and started right up. drove it 50 miles home. next weekened i throw some long tube headers on it and fix the spark plug wires cause when i bought it i copyed the old wires where they were when they came off. they were really off. ran like crap. than i timed it set the points and played with the 4bb carberator. now it runs on open headers and can barly do burn outs. its baby blue. but im going to need help on the floor pans. right when you open the doors theres almost nothin there. thats the only bad part. the motor is pretty weak with the orginal 145000 miles. so i went to "steve murgics" he is a locally race car driver, and i bought a new 350 motor. 30 over new rough idel cam, hypertunic pistions intake carb and little bit better than stock heads. 2.02 valves. nothin crazy but mild. i wanted just the rumble sound more than anything. IF ANY OF YOU GUYS HAVE A NEWER 350 TRANS WITH SHIFT KIT FOR SALE LET ME KNOW. the trany shop wants only 500 bucks for rebuilt with kit. not bad but i would rather have used. thats about it. i will get pics this weeked. so you all can see it. thanks
