cross member???

hey i saw a cross member on a 72 pickup with big holes so the exhaust will go right though it. i have been looking for one. does anyone know where i can find one??? thanks for the help....

are you looking for a crossmember for a 73-87 truck?I dont think 73-87 ever made a crossmember that had exhuast cutouts.If your looking for a 73-87 c10 2wd crossmember i got 1 i am not using.PM me and i `ll give you the details if your interested along with some snapshots...

yeah i have a 73. i also have the stock cross member. but i was just wondering if they make one for are trucks??

There isn't one that I know of with cutouts.  Are we talking aftermarket or factory.
The factory 73-76 1/2T all have double humps in the crossmember for dual exhaust.  The later models dont.
This is true of 3/4T-up for 73-80ish.

aftermarket.. looks like i might have to go back to my old shop teacher. he is the one with it.

I don't know of any factory ones with the exhaust cutouts,but they aren't hard to build..I've built several of these for my truck and my friends that are running big blocks and wanted to be able to run 3" or even 3.5" exhaust..fire up the welder and get busy
