I play drums too, got a set of pearl exports. Keep mine in the basement though. Made a room down there insulated with egg cartons stacked several inches thick to seal out the noise.

Why, are you that bad??? Just kidding, my neighbor has a band, so I get my own personal rock concert everytime I go out to the shop. No complaints here

Yeah, I know what you mean. These guys are good, most are, but we have some old folks that complain, and call the cops. The thing is, they only practice during the day mainly, and if it is in the evening, at 9pm it is like they turned a switch off. No noise at all. I live across the street, and cant hear them in the house, and the people complaining are up the street. They have to really be listening closely to hear them. The last time the sheriff came out, he said that if it was 85 decibels or something like that I dont remember, he had to give them a warning. He was cool, we sat at the corner with my decibel meter, and it hardly moved. He looked at me, and said "No problem here", sat and listened to them play for a while, and left. He comes by every once in a while to visit, and that is all. I guarantee the last time I fired up the wifes truck, it made more noise than they do. We figure it is because that isnt their type of music. But like I said, at 9pm, not a sound. We are in the county by the way, so I dont know if city ordinances are different

Mine is a 24x24 attached to the existing 24X24 with a 10x20 enclosed carport attached to that.  I can point one in facing west and on facing south at the same time and close everything up.  Here is the back wall facing south. To the left of the compressor is an attached 8x8 tractor shed.

I am so jealous of anyone with a garage, especially a barn.  I have 7 trucks and a one car garage, three of these trucks absolutely can not be outside so I suffer with two tarpsheds.  It kills me to use them.  I have two trucks in storage for the winter this year elsewhere.  As for my garage I make the best of it I can, messy in this pic but normally cleaned up.  I over wired it bigtime, lol.  I have an outlet every other stud, welder recep, 240v compressor, 100amp 20 space panel filled up with breakers, furnace, a/c, new insulation and osb walls and ceiling, phone and cable flatscreen tv.  Managed to squeeze in my toolboxes, a great workbench and sand blast cabinet.  Unfortunately it doesn't leave much room for my truck.  I had to raise the ceiling height and replace the overhead door to a larger one when I moved in and my truck still clears by 1/8 inch so I have to go in and out slow.  I need to move bad!

Those are my drums, but I play guitar, lol.  I got them really cheap, and it saves our drummer from having to haul his drumset over every time we jam.  I dabble with them occasionally, though.  The next time we jam, another drummer is bringing his set, also, so we're going to have two drummers playing at the same time, oh boy, gonna sound like The Melvins.  :o

-------------------------

Nice guitar collection, and guitar room, VileZambonie!

-------------------------

I couldn't live without my garage/jamroom.  It's like my fortress of solitude, even though it's loud, lol.

I still want another garage, soon!

I keep my 84 in the garage at my house most of the time I do some work on it here but most of the work is done at my father in laws shop. Heres a picture of my garage its kinda messy it has all of the kids outside toys in it.

Heres the shop where I work on it at.  Not much going on in there now except  I am lowering my sons radio flyer wagon and putting a spring over straight axel on it.  If you look to the right you can see my model A pickup.

I still have to put the handle back on the wagon but other than that it is done.  I am going to rat the model A but it is not going to be real ratty.  I dont like them when they are over done mine is going to be more traditional with either a flathead or a 283 sbc.

Hers is mine, it is 30'x35' with 12' ceilings, 18'x10' door and 10'x8' door. Other one is 27'x30'. My Dad wanted a place to work on is cars and I had the room, so we split the cost on the new one.
