mine was cracked but not broken out....what I did was weld up the crack and then welded a washer on it to sturdy it up

Yeah, the one red4wd just listed is what I did on mine. I would get one of the shock stud kits and use that washer since you know it is the correct size.

i had to do this same repair last week i bent up a 3/16 patch plate that covered about a half in bigger than the broken area , welded it in and drilled a hole for a new shock stod
