Exhaust Question
« on: June 22, 2007, 07:49:40 am »
Chris - do you sell exhaust systems?  86, C-10, 350 with long pipe headers.  I need cats, mufflers, and pipes.  Havn't decided to go single or dual exhaust.  Any possibilities?

chris not to rob his thread but i'm about to bag my truck which means my longtubes have to go. whats a good set of shorties or mid length (if i can find a good set that fits) and what would be a muffler that sounds about half as loud as flowmasters?

We put this one in the tech pages, but for an SBC I suggest the dynomax ones listed.

The ones you want are 3/4 length for a Chevelle for SBC.
This is the PN for the black coated ones:  WLK-85118
This is the PN for the ceramic coated ones: WLK-86118

For something not as loud but with a good tone, I like Dynomax Super Turbos or Maganflows, or the Street Flows by Pypes.

yeah i had magnaflows on my gto and they sounded GREAT! they had a nice rumble down low and mid rpm... but once you got over 4k rpms at WOT it screamed! but i also had kooks lt headers and strait through 3" pipe the rest of the way ;D
