Hey people,
been awhile since i came up with any updates on the truck "MEDUSA" .But the bed is all but done w/ the exception of bolting on the steps n the taillights.I`m going to use the LED lights, but the focus is now on the fuel cell n the fuel lines.I got everything i need. But before i do the fuel im taking the rearend out and i bought the belle tech C notch flip kit from summit racing.Once the kit is here i`m going to take pics of the progress once its installed.I`m going to have them powdercoated(gloss not the flat black they come in with) and then install them. Then reinstall the fuel cell n then get going on the rearend. While the back is apart im going to have the leaf springs and parts redone due to the fact the idiot that screwed up the paintjob got overspray all over them. Then get the rearend done n install it n put this 1 in the truck put away.So the truck will have a 4 1/2 inch drop in the front n a 6 inch drop in the rear..Should look wicked once the bed is on...

thanks
pat

p.s. pics to come on progress

Anyone have an idea about how they do pricing for powder coating? Looking to get frame powder coated, any ideas on cost?

1 guy here got a price for 450.00 to powdercoat his frame.I could get mine done for 350.00 But my frame is already painted.I may tear the front suspension off and powdercoat everything including the engine cradle.

thanks

Hey people,
Well this  is going to be crazy talk here .I got all my parts minus the discs and calipers for the rearend to be built.I`m sending that out i decided friday to let someone do it and warranty it.But here is the kicker now.I am blowing the truck apart, i`m going to take the cab off again, front suspension and drivetrain and i`m going to have the frame and the front suspension all powdercoated. That way i know now the parts are done. And i wont be driving knowing everything but the frame was powdercoated. So now i called my powdercoater and gonna see where we take this next.I am nuts i tell ya but since the rearend is already out and there are no brake lines or fluid lines hooked up as well as electrical the rest is just easy to unbolt..Now once this is done the proces of putting it together should go fast...

thanks
pat

Better to do it now. You won't regret it, especially for $350.

Powdercoat is the only way to go on frame and suspension. Looks great and much tougher than paint. And its probably cheaper than paint also.
