Chevyman72,
We don't open until tomorrow, but I got your order and wanted to ask what condition your current door panels are in?  The aftermarket version you ordered won't go with Silverado trim and if your panels are in good shape, I recommend re-coloring them.  Can you post pics of them?

My panels are in good shape but just like most, they have the fade going on. They are intact and not flakey but I have heard horror stories about the coloring. I actually tried one but it was with cheap plastic paint from Duplicolor or something like that. I do have all the plastic panels and trim around the top and back. My dash is in good shape but it looks like the previous owner may have freshened it up with die or paint. It looks brand new. Everything is mostly a dark red. I dont have pics of my interior and I am in Africa and will be several weeks before I return. I was going to try to order all my parts so when I returned I could start my interior. I will be ordering many more items. I will be going with the Dakota instrumentation. I want to enquire about it some but that will be later in the week. If you think I should go back factory with the doors then I will need some direction in the procees. I believe you may have it posted already.

I recommend this procedure:

This was done on N2TRUX truck that has been featured in a number of magazines

Thanx I will check it out. When you say trim are you meaning color of the other panels or the bezels? I dont have many choices. I kow i need new flooring and a new headliner. that is a given. Now I need all the other pieces to match. The carpet and headliners dont have multi choices so this will be a base line. Am i missing something?

Silverado was a Trim level as in the top of the line.  Custom was the bottom of the line trim level.
Silverado's had brushed aluminum and other special trim pieces.

Oh yea, Now I got ya! Yea I am not too concerned with the brushed bezels. Infact I think I will do away with all of it. I am going to custom cover the seat with a two tone and impliment a Bow tie. Once I do that I will take the long bezel from the dash and have it covered with the same material (grey) and also impliment a bow tie (red) in it to match the seat.
Once I get the panels, headliner, and carpet from you I will match my seat to that color and compliment the two tone seat with a grey.
So the seat will be the matching red with a charcoal grey break up. Red bow tie in the middle.
The bezel will be charcoal grey with a small red bow tie. If the door panels you have match the carpet and head liner you supply, I will be in good shape. I will use your advice with die color on the small pieces if needed. I have to go to an upolster to do the seat, so if I have to do a color change on all the small trim pieces around the head liner and all the small plastic pieces, I might get him to do that to.

If you plan to paint pieces currently in the truck, I highly suggest painting everything so it will match, new door panels or old included.

I can get your carpet and the headliner material to be a close match, Nothing is going to be perfect since they are different material.  Factory interiors were like this also.  The door panels will have to either be color match to paint everything if you want an exact match, or you can paint all the plastic to match which is what I recommend.
