Are they replacable grids or when they fail do you have to buy a new set of lights?

They have a limited lifetime warranty on them.  If any of th LEDs fail they will replace the module.  This is under ordinary conditions, if you wreck the truck, short the lights etc you have to get a new one.  If you are just driving it and one day some stop working they will replace them.  (original owner only)

No, just tails.

You can get some replacement white LEDs from some other place like superbrightleds.com for the reverse lights. That's what I'll do if I end up getting a set of these.

Limited lifetime warranty and it has more LED lights in it from what I can tell.
