get a bunch of the cheap bristle paint brushes, size depends on how big your project is. my projects were pretty small so i used paper dixie cups as i only mixed the resin and hardner 3 oz at a time. i tried both the chopped matt and the cloth. cloth seemed to easier to work with and leveled out better then matt but, matt worked better on contours tho. its cheaper to buy the bigger containers of resin  then a bunch of little ones, i used over a quart just on my small kicks alone. mind you i used a sweat shirt material and that soaked up resin like a sponge. majour auto stores will be your best bet to get it, walmart has it but they only carry the small cans. i got told itd cost me 300 bucks to build my kicks, doing them myself cost me about 20 bucks and few hours of my time. it may look like complete crap in the glassing stage (both my kicks and dash did) but after you get it sanded and bondo'd it gets how you wanted it look. good luck!
