well i'm building my 86 to eventually be a 100% show truck so this means i'm going to need a daily driver! and i'd rather build somthing oldschool and modernize it than go buy to just go and buy a new car so heres what i have in mind... hear me out since its not a 73-87! remember the blue K5 blazer hills built w/ the suburban camper shell fabbed/welded int place of the lift top?!?! well we got to talkin and i'm going to build a 71-72 blazer (first years of 2wd i've been told) and do the same thing!
exterior:
gonna shave all the drip rails and anything else that will keep it from having a clean smooth look but since i'm going to use it as a daily driver i'm going to keep door handles and mirrors... i'll just use some low profile billet mirrors and try to find somthing nice and low profile for the door handles! we are goin to paint it a gloss black, shave in a role pan and replace the tail lights w/ the leds that chris will eventually have in the catolog

! as far as the front i know i want to do a smooth paint matched low profile bumper but i cant decide if i want to run a phantom billet grill or dress up a stock grill! and of course nothing but billet for the wheels... size undecided but it will be 20's or a staggered 20's-22's or just 22's all around!
Drivetrain:
gm 6.0 w/ a 4l80e tranny, mild airbag setup, for a nice ride and a good stance when parked!... possibly add a whipple down the road

upgrade the brakes a little and a better steering setup if i can find one
Interior:
fully adjustable heated seats (front and rear) from a newer tahoe, MAYBE update the dash w/ newer style gm setup or i may just keep the classic look on the inside... i'll decide later!
what do you guys think?!?!
sound like a good idea?
