maybe a dumb question but i have a problem

the ash tray in my truck has never stayed closed since i got it... i even looked through the whole   catalog looking for a spring or something that will hold it closed since i dont use it but i've come up with nothing.... can someone help me here pleeeeeease

Sounds like maybe the nubs are worn out on it or maybe something is bent inside...

If is it partially open, the problem is the spings on the outside.  If yours don't have them, that is what is causing the problem.

yup mine doesnt have em... where can i get a set caus i couldnt find em on   and that woudla been my only guess

Junk yard is the only place I know of to get them.  I have some I need to put in my Burb, I will take them to the store this weekend and see if there is something simular...
