There is a raised snorkel on the pass side of the windshield, and apparently very well sealed.

I am amazed it kept running. With all that could go wrong...water in gas tank, electrical system, etc..
I bet he would have to drain everything afterwards, axle fluids, tranny fluid, gas, brake fluid---water is thinner than oil and i just dunno if all those seals keep water out. oh, and he would probably have to change his underwear.

Cool vid. Some pics of my Blazer years ago.
http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q165/BlazinK30/4%20Wheelin/BlazerFowlerTownbeaverpond34-1.jpg
Been in deeper but have no pics. Had an 86 3/4 ton with 36" tires on it. I went in deep enough to give the motor a drink. Dragged it out, pulled the plugs, cranked the water out, dried the inside of the cap, put the plugs back in and it fired up.

That Jeep was pretty impresive, I've seen people go through deeper though. It takes alot of work to seal a truck up that tight. Alot of work towards sealing the electronics mostly. The engine is pretty much sealed other than the intake and a snorkel takes care of that. But you have to take all the connecters and use dielectric grease on them, that includes lights as well. It's not expensive just time consuming, and as you can see very fun when done. I knew a guy who did this to his rubicon, and he took it through a huge ass lake and the electonics all died in it, apparently he missed something. Good pics and videos though. I enjoyed them. Blazin That is a very nice Blazer you've got I like it.

I like how you come back around and tell that guy in the Ford the a Chevy made that path
...Pretty cool stuff. Although what happened there on that last try up the hill?

That was far from the last trip up that hill. The last time up it was dark, and at the very top ( front wheels were already over the top ) the rear end kicked over to the left. Left rear was on the side facing bank. I thought it was going to go over, but it clawed its way over the top.
That F150 was on its second year at that party. Not bad for a free truck, 300 six, std. trans. no lift, & 38" tires under it. We built the back half of the frame out of 2x4 1/4" wall square stock this year as we broke it in half last year.
