headlight switch
« on: November 27, 2007, 07:08:53 pm »
I'm not sure where to post this question but i hope someone can help me.
I have a 75 k10 and i can't get me park lights to come on without the heatlights coming on too.
Is it a switch problem, wiring problem,or do they not operate separately.

The parking lights are supposed to come on at the first pull detent in the switch and stay on when the headlights come on at the second detent. I would start tracing from the switch since the lights do come on when the headlights are on. Someone here might even supply a wiring diagram.

Years ago I had the same problem. It turned out to be the switch.
