A good poem

Found this the other day and thought yall might enjoy it.
The Little Honda That Could...nt.
Twas the night before Christmas and caught at the light,
Was a domestic V8 and no cops in sight,
I will try, I will try, I will try with this small motor,
To beat this dang Camaro, even with its big blower,
As the light goes green and I pull like no joke,
The Camaro erupts in clouds of tire smoke,
Now Smasher, now Rev-ver, now Stroker, now Blitzin,
These are the names of my four VTEC pistons,
Racing ahead I’m the star of the action,
But I know I’m in trouble when the V8 gets traction,
Grabbing second, I hear the RPM’s sing,
My mirror is blocked by my shopping kart wing,
I now hear the roar of the big monster gaining,
All I can do is keeping the four-banger straining,
In a second, the shock wave hits with a blast,
And my stickers go flying now a thing of the past,
Don’t bother with third, cause now it’s too late,
Just try to act cool, like you can relate,
Looking up at the taillights as they get smaller,
The driver back off just to give me a holler,
"You can’t win them all," he says in fling,
"You may not win any, in that silly thing,"
I smiled and revved as he pulled out of sight,
With my new mods tomorrow…it will be a better night.

That's pretty cool. But,.....
But seeing the pumps, up ahead
It didn't matter how much he led
The V8 slammed the brakes, to stop in a hurry
The driver got out to pump gas in such a fury
As the gallons went in, so much for the kill
The foreign jobby sailed by with a full tank still
When the tank became full the motor was started
He accelerated quickly, nearly broken-hearted
But alas, the Honda was up ahead
As the V8 went by, the tach showed red
But just as the lead of the V8 amassed
Another gas station couldn't be passed
We've seen this story yet again and again
The Honda driver, as he went by, had a big grin.
What this writer can do with his spare time
is writing lousy poems and trying to get a rhyme.

The pistons are burning
The bearings are turning
The crank is strainning
The O.P. is waning
Got to keep going
The honda is blowing
A cloud of blue
I pass saying, "Whew"
I near the stop
As the 8 starts to pop
Round the corner
temp can't get no warmer
Slam 'er in granny
Whine out that tranny
engine is dead
but made it home to bed.
As the honda calls his prep buddies to triple A him a ride to daddy's.
