right when i was thnkin i never find any GREAT deals...

my friend at decides he is going to sell his unfinished truck CHEAP! as you guys know we are tearing my truck back down to frame in two months for the big build. well considering we were going to shave just about everything and since my body is nowhere near perfect this works out GREAT for me! his truck has a z-frame body drop the cab is all shaved and strait as can be emagined! and the bed has shaved stakepockets, pan, talegate and is also strait as can be! i cant decide on what to do about the frame though... my frame from the cab back is solid as it gets and the fourlink is setup extremely nicely.... but his frame is already setup for a stock floor bodydrop. which means i can either sell his frame to pay for a porterbuilt front crossmember or use the front half of his frame and the back half of mine... what do u guys think i should do? i'm kinda leaning towards the porterbuilt because i've heard alot of great things about it.

also i will be selling my cab and bed pretty cheap when build time comes and whichever frame we dont use and it will have a 4-6 static drop

so if you don't use the frame that has been zed you'll use it for a 4/6? cool.

Did you already mess your bed up by cutting it up for tubs?

I say you build your own truck. Don't buy someone elses unfinished project.

the build wont be much different other then i wont have NEAR as much sheet metal work to do. my cab and doors are pretty rough. and i'll probably use the bed floor that is in my truck now but swap the rest of the bed since its already mostly been shaved... i would just have to redo the taillights.

im thinking about keeping everything though and building a DD from the remaining frame and body instead of building the blazer i was going to build.
