Do they make a short shaft? and is it the same length as the 350 short shaft? About how much is it to get rebuilt with a shift kit? Thanks

There wasn't different tail lengths on 700R4's.  They are the same lenght as a TH350 with a 9" tailhousing.
Most builders don't charge extra for a shift kit, around here a rebuilt 700R4 is about $450...
