Suburban Rear Spring Hangers
« on: January 24, 2008, 12:54:16 am »
I bought a 73 C10 Suburban a couple of months ago & I've installed 3" Belltech drop spindles & 2" shackles, but I need to get the rear down a little more. The previous owner cut the front coils & pulled the thick overload spring out of the rear, looks like all the other leaves are still there. I was thinking about installing front spring hangers in the rear, but all I've found are ones for the pick ups. Now my questions are the pick up & Suburban spring hangers the same? If not does anybody make them for the Suburban? If not I can make them, but I wanted to buy some to have as little down time as possible.

I just made a set for my 78 K10. The ones I found at   Truck Parts were for a pickup and were 70 dang dollars each. The had a listing for Bazers & I think for Burbans. Not sure if they offered lowering hangers or not. $70-I'd make em an you can go as low as you want! I did, used 1/4" angle and flat. I'll put some pics up when I get my members projects set up.
UH-OH  I'M GONNA NEED A BIGGER BANDAID!!!!!
