The bed 88 up is narrower by a couple inches or so. I found out when I tried to install my ladder rack that was on my 88 to my 86 and it almost dropped inside the bed.

Only the 73-87's will work on molded liners.

Make sure you take it out every now and then, to remove any trapped moisture/water from underneath it!  Those things along with the mats, are notorious for trapping moisture under them, and will rot your bed floor out in no time! :o

Roll in a fairly cheap bedliner (Plasticote is good, its also a useable bedliner in itself), or paint the bed floor with POR15, and you won't have to worry about taking it out.
