anybody but crying, long-haired hippy, can't control temper, eatin' too much, sore-loosin', Tony.

I've been a RYR fan since Davey's days---but cannot find any updated info as to who is drivin his cars besides Gilliland...his website www.robertyatesracing.com has old october 07 stuff w/M&M's and #88  on it.  M&M's is now the sponsor for Gibb's new ride for Busch. 88 now belongs to, well, you know who.

That's pretty poor they cannot update their website.

I run the #88 on my Pro 4 truck cause my wife n I were married in 88 and shes a Dale Jarrett fan. That was her only request with my racing so I gave in, but I've always been a Robert Yates fan. If only he were a Chevy guy!!!! He has retired and handed everything over to his son Doug Yates.

Now that he gave the 88 to Jr. and Rick Hendrick he has the 38 of Gilliland and the 28 of Travis Kvapil. If they get some sponsorship they're gonna be contenders this year. They're 2 fast young cats!

I'm keepin the 88 on my truck even though Jr copied off of me!!!!!

What is Pro 4 and can I get involved here in SC? I would love some local track time in a truck. The dirt track cars here run the little mustang 4 cylinders and they don't run very long, maybe 45 minutes. It gets boring after the second time.

I always did the drag racing thing but sold my half of the car to my partner 5 years ago and bought a ministock and ran it at Kil-Kare Speedway and Shadybowl Speedway. Then Kil-Kare cancelled the class 2 years ago and Shadybowl kept us but named it the Pro 4 class.

There rear wheel drive compact trucks and cars. ( rangers, S-10s, pintos, mustangs etc) most have become modified front frame/suspensions w full tube chassis out back. All are 2300 or 2500 Ford Pinto/ Ranger 4 Cyl. It's a good cheaper class to start in. You'll learn alot and prept to advance up the ranks. Just check your local tracks because they're all different.

You can go to www.shadybowl.com and click on photos in the column on the left. There's a doozy of my yellow #88 in the July 7th racing action set of pics, just scroll down to it. They have the rules and everything on that site.

Cool.  Nice to here from TN, my folks have a cabin on Dale Hollow Lake. I try to get down there as often as possible.

DJs gonna run the 5 races he can use the champions provisional to get into, run the Allstar and then retire. Then David Ruetemann is gonna jump in the 44 and a rookie is gonna hop in the 00.

Good idea on the wheels down thing. Alltho it did pick up speed while on its side!!!!!! I got it all back together a week and $1000 later and had it in a couple car shows for the sponsors  but didn't make a to tha track  due to family stuff conflicting. I CAN"T WAIT TILL THE SEASON STARTS UP!!!!!

I've got some picks of it before and after the wreck but they're to large and won't load. I'm as illiterate computer wise as they come so I'll have to be shown how to reduce them to post them.
