Ok, I went back & read your prior posts trying to figure this all out. Correct me if I'm wrong anywhere. You bought an engine complete less the intake (now we know it's a Vorvec block) with a Comp cams hyd. flat tappet cam pt#12-324-4 (which means the factory roller lifters are gone) & on top of this are '87-'95 305/350 heads casting#14102193 (old intake bolt pattern). Is this all correct? Do you know if this engine been in a vehicle & running in this latest form prior to you buying it? This block,heads,cam & lifters,ect. Do you have the flexplate? Lorne

ya that is all right. i dont know if it was ran like that setup but it has all been gone through and completely redone. and has never been started since

i bought the vortec heads from jegs last night. should i go ahead and get a roller cam lifters and rockers? if so what do you suggest. ya obviously the guy that sold it to me took advantage of the situation.
