Bypass gauge circuit?
« on: March 08, 2008, 06:35:38 pm »
Is it possible to bypass the instrument gauge circuit panel to install separate gauges individually?  For example, if I disable the oil pressure warning light and install an oil pressure gauge, can I wire the oil pressure gauge independent of the rest of the lights?

If you wire the gage seperate and as long as it will fit, you can tie the light of the gauge into the existing wiring such as the wire to control the radio light already hooked to the dimmer.  Or there should be a place on the fuse block that is controlled by the light switch but it is not dimmed.
