Hi,
I know that I will have to change intakes, but will I hve to buy headers too if I change over to Vortec heads?

I don't think so. It may just depend on the headers. I know some say they don't fit angled plug heads and some say they fit straight and angled plugs. I think vortecs have angled plugs. I gave my hedmans to a guy here who had 882's(straight) and later he swapped them onto some Brodix(angled) heads with only 1 minor clearance problem.

headers for standard heads will work fine with the Vortecs. as will the head gaskets, only difference will be the intake gaskets and self aligning rocker arms.
AND BTW, the Vortecs have straight plugs not angled.

Yeah, Its got a Hemi...Just sucked one down the carb a few blocks back.

My bad, I thought vortecs had angled plugs. I probably was thinking about the fastburn heads. Sorry about that.
