HR you can bolt all the parts to the frame with grade 8 hardware.
Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

those rivets are heated to red hot and slapped in the hole and held by one worker, while another guy with a pnuematic air hammer flattens the other side.

bolts are the way.

man i was thinking that you could take a big rivet gun and do it that way i guess bolts is the way to go

I used grade 8 bolts.  There is really no way to do it with a rivot gun without taking the sheetmetal off, which i didn't do.  Deff would want to rivot before any paint work if you ever use them.  I have heard a lot of people tell me that stainless will never be more than a grade 5.  I have talked personaly with a high quality bolt mfg. and he tells me they make a high tensil stainless bolt that is equivilent to a grade 9.  Last I talked to him was about 7 years ago and they were $3 for one 3/8-16x1" bolt.  That is what I planed on using on my new frame for my 80.  I was going to look into these again sometime.

I just mean the box is in the way, as well as fenders and such up front.  Can prolly be done to some of them but most rivots there is no way to do it with the box, etc on.  I have done this before and is almost a must to have two people to do this right.  You can easily slip and bung up the frame, that's one reason I use bolts.  You will need to find a supplier to get the attachment for your air hammer to mash the rivit down correctly.

thank you i am doing a ground up restoration and my frame is bent a little so i need to drill out some of the rivets and i might paint my frame black and the sping hangers like yours and if that guy does shipping i will get them done by him and i have a question i am going to put 31x10s on my truck and would there be any use in getting that stuff powder coated becuase would you be able to see them
