I'm in the shop now getting the mower ready for the first grass cutting. The pollen is THICK and I hate cutting grass. Back 15 years ago it didn't bother me, but now after 25 - 30 years of painting, welding, smoking, engine exhaust  and 15 years of Fire Fighting the pollen and I don't get along. I can't cut grass I've had asthma all my life so life has its restrictions. Not many but fresh cut grass puts me down in seconds.

I know you have got to get sick of the snow occasionally, but I would love to see it innperson one of these days. We got a couple of inches of snow last Easter, but it was gone by about 3pm. Mostly just wind, sandstorms, and mud rain here.

70 degrees and raining - but at least no more snow ;D  I finally turned off the heater in my garage. ;)

I love NE winters but would hate dealing with the mud in spring.

I spent yesterday, & today raking around snow piles.
This pile is still about 4' tall, & 30' long!

I rent it. I would buy it but the guy wants way to much for it, plus there is no garage! It was built in the mid 1800's Not sure exactly. At one time it had about 500 acres, with 3 barns. Danbury was a cord wood / lumber, and dairy town.
They called it renovation but all they really did was a fluff and buff about 4 years ago. Allot of hack work done to it. It looks nice when you walk in if you don't know what to look for. No kick spaces under the cabinets. sprayed all the paint, so there is over spray all over the windows from the trim, & over spray all over the trim from the floors.
Its a slab house. built like a log cabin all the way to the peak, but out of 2x6s. The man that built it worked at a saw mill, he brought home all the seconds / short pieces, etc.
32 windows, three doors, & 3 acres of land.
