Paid Subscriptions/Access to the Forum.
« on: April 01, 2008, 07:28:32 pm »
At the end of this week we Are going to have to start charging for all user logins. If you have Paid or donated nothing will change, if not, your access will be limited to Read only at that time.  Unfortunately our bandwidth Is being exceeding (which is where the Connection to SQL errors are coming From) and we are being forced tO a dedicated server plan.  This will basically quadruple Our current server hosting costs.  We were hoping some of the members would add to donations and then hoped that more would become site supporters, but that didn't happen.  I am going to try and keep the cost as Low aS possible...   I will replay to this post with more info...

Best site going.  I thank each and everyone who gave advise and helped me along the way.  I only wish I had the extra to give... Being a one income family going backwards each year has been tough.  Trying to sell all my extras to help keep the hobby going and keeping a 17 year old in his truck takes a toll.  I wish you all the best.  Carl in NW Indiana

No, Donations are just that, donations.  Site supporter is a subscription for 1 year and it put is at the top under your username.  See bigblock73's under his username...

There are actually 11 people that are subscribed.

Sorry guys, I had to..  The only thing that will ever have a charge to it would be the classified section.  The information will always be free to anyone...
