Frame Question

On my '74 chevy p/u I am missing a "rubber bumper" on the driver side. It looks like they are used to stop the leaf springs from hitting the frame. Where can I get another one? How do they stay on? And lastley, do I really need them. My truck has a 4" lift and I really don't plan on doing any really major off roading. Thanks for any input.

The stock one wouldn't do any good with a lift anyway. You would have to do a Duke boy or Fall Guy jump for a 4' lift spring to hit a stock rubber. You can buy after market one for lifts. They have a plate with a stud cast right into them. Stick the stud through the frame and spin a nut onto it.

Thanks Blazin. So I'm guessing I really don't need it and I can take the one off the other side? Or is it a state insp. thing?
