Luck must be on my side
« on: June 15, 2006, 11:55:00 am »
Hi all,
i posted a wanted ad on craiglist for a frame and i got a responce from a guy that has a entire truck for sale.I just bought a 81/82(dont know of the year due to the pics) stepside for 300.00.It doesnt have a motor or tranny but its a complete truck. Its got a/c,white vinyl bucket seats w/ center console. And a perfect bed. After all the work i went thru purchasing all these stepside bed parts i get a diamond fall in my lap and find a truck w/ a perfect rust free stepsdie bed, and a truck w/o a motor or tranny.

thanks
pat

Well i decided to back out on it.I just rather buy little parts here and there and restore 1 truck rather then taking 2 and try to make 1.SO i think he already had it sold cause when i called him today he said he almost sold it but i think he did already before i went down to  see him.Its cool i can take my time now n build this..
Oh well its better off i think
thanks
