Weather today
« on: April 11, 2008, 09:56:46 pm »
We had another severe weather day today. As far as I can tell no one was severly injured, just some trees down and some other property damage. Had 1 twister went 5 miles south and another one 10 miles north of the house. No damage here !
Local news has some kool photos posted.

hope nothing too serious.  we just got our weekend blizzard, i think we got 5 inches today to go with the 5 inches last weekend.  gotta love spring in ND, wish i had my jimmy rolling though, would be a fun day to off road with all that slop out there.

Base ball sized hail! Imagine getting that upside the head!
I took my plow, and sander off my turck a few days ago. That means we will get slammed with a 2' storm sometime this week!

We had a hail storm wednesday night, some got golfball size hail, not more than quarter size at my house. Then thrusday, very windy with gusts upto 60 mph, with grass fires all over the place. I was heading to inspect a job going against the wind, and the truck wouldnt' kick into overdrive. Decided it could wait, and turned around. I can handle any type of weather except the wind. It pretty much ruins my day. 20mph or less is normal and I can handle that.

Eee-gats! Glad you guys are ok. We had rotten weather yesterday and I thought for sure we'd have a twister! It would poor down rain then 15 mins. later be sunny and nice. The temp. would get noticeably cool then warm then cool then warm. Not much defense against mother nature! Just be prepaired.

Sounds bad.

I was upset because everything was a brown/green color when I went to bed, and white when I got up.  I guess we could have been much worse off.  We are supposed to be in the 70 degree range toward the end of next week.

Glad everyone is ok.
