I am speaking of the "Heavy Half" decal...this is a 73-77 bed in Lebanon, TN.

If you are talking only about the decal, well, it isn't reproduced.  Trace it out you might can get a sign company to duplicate it.

the Heavy Half package?  it's GMC's version of the "Big 10" package offered by Chevrolet.  it's not super-rare but at the same time, you don't see 'em everyday either.  heck, you don't see as many GMC's as Chevys anyhow...

I have read they did those because in california, the 1/2 ton chasis required catalytic converters.  The Heavy Half or Big 10's had a 1/2 ton axle with a 3/4 ton chasis--therefore, exempt.  I don't know if the website i read that from is correct or not.

GMC to Chevy= same truck different name! My '79 is badged GMC but over here the "Chevy" name has more cred hence mine will be badged Chevrolet  ;)

Heavy Half or Big10 were HD 1/2T's  They had a higher load capacity (basically 3/4T springs and brakes) and were emmissions exempt in all 50 states.
