I finally got pics uploaded to my cardomain site. Not a lot to see other than the Dart valve covers that I painted the raised logo yellow, to match my truck. You can see the new Mallory distro behind the carb too. And of course my daughter, daddy's little helper  :)

Thanks  :D My daughter brings that stool in from her playroom whenver I'm in the garage. She goes hunting for me, and then I hear her fumbling with the door knob to the garage, she gets it open, sees me and says "Shoes! Be right back"   She grabs her shoes, gets her stool and comes out to help dad.  lol   So funny.

I want to clean up my underhood wiring and plumbing. I think I'll get longer heater hoses and run them down along the frame, and up by the rad to get them down and out of the way. And then do a hardline for the fuel line so that it isn't so obtrusive. Finally, redo the plug wires so they are cut to length.

Something No Garage should ever be without! 8) ;D

Congrats on the Great Looking Truck, and the Cute Lil' Helper to go with it!! 8) 8)   On the Fuel Filter, I would suggest an In-Line like from Aeromotive... They are very easy to work with, when you are trying to get things out of the way, and you can check them from time time, to monitor how much garbage is going through your lines.....

If you can get longer hoses and pair them together where they would interface above the alternator and run them down to the inner fender, you may be able to camoflage and blend in with the black of the inner fender.

Capt, that's what I'm hoping to do at some point.

Comp, I really have no idea. They came with the truck. I don't consider them long-tubes, but not really shorties either?? Maybe they are shorties. I'm really not sure. And that header tape was on there too and I've been hesitant to remove it since I know that tape can trap moisture and cause holes, which the tape would actually end up covering. I had it on my H pipe too and I took that off to reveal 4 rusted-thru holes. Don't ever use that crap!

the header wrap is good for vehicles that dont get wet. also it helps when you only wrap the header as it gets hot enough to dry the stuff out. i use the stuff on my motorcycle and it works great but my bike header cant rust any way.
