Anyone have pics of an extended cab 73-87???
« on: May 13, 2008, 03:26:48 am »
I remember a few years ago, I was on cardomain, and I saw a couple of I wanna say 85-87 Silverados, they had the 91 Blazer front end, an extended cab, and 1500 badges on them.  I'd love to see one again if anyone knows where I can look at one.  I know they werent factory.  Also, if anyone has any pictures of a 3+3 cab on a longbed frame with an ultra short bed, I'd like to see that too since my friend found an awesome 3+3 cab and he has a '78 K20 he'd like to mount the cab and a mega short bed on his.

sorry to sound vague - is there a difference between an extended cab to a crew-cab? My '79 cab looks longer than the picture? Total vehicle length is 21foot appx

A crewcab has four doors and an extended cab has....uh....an extended cab. GM offered a crewcab from the factory. They never manufactured an extended cab. All of they were built by aftermarket conversion companies.

I understand this is a very old post but I felt I had to put in on here somewhere.  Very surprised to find it at a dealership about 30 miles from me in Muncie, Indiana. Looks to be a crew cab that they shortened and put a stupid 90's stepside on but i see alot of potential.

They sectioned a crew cab to do that, the rear doors are a crew door chopped off...
