Pinion Shim Question
« on: May 21, 2008, 12:08:18 pm »
Would anyone happen to know or happen to have some shims they could measure off of? I have one shim still in my rearend that measures 3/16th of an inch and I want to order the shims. These were home made and as a result one of the popped out So instead of just guessing i was wondering if anybody knew? Also I have a flip kit on 1986 1/2 ton swb with a v6 in it if there's a standard degree of shim for that?

If it is a flip kit, the generally do not require a shim.
