Yeah, I think they look funny too.  Kind of like an exaggerated kids toy.

Thanks for the compliment on my caprice...Captkaos

And I guess in closing we agree that we all have our own opinions and agree that they will not all be the same.  I accept that what I like another may not.  I just dont agree with bashing someones ride just because its not customized to your liking.(Only a generalized statement...not pointing any fingers)

You're welcome!
I disagree with bashing also, so those reading this need to keep this in mind...  If you only have negative comments, don't post them.  It is part of the forum rules that there is no bashing of members....

I didn't read any bashing here or did I miss something? You're right not everyone likes what you like or I like or he likes. I think everyone here appreciates my pink truck but I don't think everyone likes it nor do they have to nor would I expect them to  :D

None yet, just a warning.  The last time I had to cut a bunch of threads out.

I'll throw a couple of compliments out  ;D  Of all the pics shown, yellasldrboy_04's Caprice and his friends Delta do look the best.  I love that Delta.

Do you have to take it pretty smooth with those rims?  Do they rub the in fender wells easily?

yellasldrboy_04,
Great looking '75 you had there, very tastefully done.... 8)

Personally I am a Fan of any tire & rim Combo, so long as they are done tastefully...   To me a 2wd Truck looks good as a SWB Fleet/Step that has been Body Dropped(Rockers on the ground) and Tuckin' BIGG Rims(Same goes for a Car/Wagon/Van)....

Couple of my Favs...
A Bubble Forum Bro Tuckin his Old Twanky Dueces(22's)

Last a C10 Fav from Truckin Mag

Would enjoy having my Bubble Tuckin Twankies, and lifting my '77, but practicality & cost is a factor for me(Roads Suck too much, to go beyond 17's as the Bubble is my Daily)....

Sure I have respect for alot of the work that goes into some of those lifted cars, but to me they make as much sence as a SkyHigh 2wd Truck :-X

I wonder how the owners like driving them?  When I was visiting my parents in Killeen, a guy drove up to the neighbors in a 80's Impala with 28's.  He decided to bust a U-turn and it took him about a whole minute or more because he couldn't turn his wheels much.  It was interesting to watch.  I wonder if they all have that trouble.

No they dont all have that problem..with the correct suspension setup, u-turns are a go

But the same goes for a truck w/ the big swamper tires....you have to lift it and may have to do some fender well cutting/shaving to clear the tires

But once its all done right, there are no problems, but again you must remember those are 28inch wheels...guys with 22s or 4s dont have that problem at all, 6s maybe a lil issue depending on the vehicle
